Invited to lead two workshops as part of an artist residency on Eilean Shona, an uninhabited island off the coast of Scotland. One "critical karaoke" workshop focused on our personal connections to music, using the music and karaoke format to tell stories about our favorite pop songs. The second workshop was a DIY Party Tool Kit that highlighted the value and importance of queer nightlife and queer night spaces with the goal the folks would feel inspired to start their own parties in their hometowns. My contribution culminated in a "rave" on the island in the community hall!
